T-Shirt Design I

🌸 This is my T-shirt design for T-shirt design competition organized by UUM Japanese Language & Cultural Club (JLCC). This incorporates both traditional and modern elements that represent the essence of Japanese culture.

🌸 The front design prominently features Japanese calligraphy, conveying a sense of cultural sophistication. The falling cherry blossom petals add a delicate touch, symbolizing the fleeting beauty of life, which is a core concept in Japanese aesthetics.

🌸 On the back, the geometric pattern echoes a modern interpretation of traditional Japanese architecture, while the cherry blossoms (sakura), represents renewal and the coming of spring, a significant time in Japanese culture. The waves at the bottom ground the design with a reference to Japan's deep connection to the sea.
